Designing an Augmented Reality Experience
  • 12/18 Designing an Augmented Reality Experience - Afternoon Session

This course is an immersive introduction to an augmented reality experience by developing a 3D object using Unity and Vuforia. Unity is a game development platform that is used in creating 2D and 3D games for mobile, desktop, gaming consoles, websites and AR/VR devices. Students first learn to build their models using 3D modeling software. 3D models are then imported into Unity to use in the App. Students will create a marker/image target.  This image is then identified and picked up by the camera (phone/ipad/laptop).

Then, the software and code helps the output to be three dimensional object. An excellent way to spend your winter break and dive into the absolute leading edge technology.
