This camp is unique in design (New 2018). We have condensed the league season into 5 days of camp. The study of competitive robotics not only encompasses all four pillars of STEM education: Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Teams of students are tasked with designing and building a robot to play against other teams in a game-based engineering challenge. Classroom STEM concepts are put to the test as students learn lifelong skills in teamwork, leadership, communications, and more. In this course students will learn about the basics of Robotics by building and programming a VEX IQ Robot. Students will gain an understanding of the different hardware components of the robot by building robots to solve numerous challenges. Tournaments are held at the end of the day, everyday at camp and culminate on Friday at the Camp Championship Games!
