About Our Classes :

     We provide laptops. 

   One computer per student

   The instructor uses an overhead projector to conduct the class.

   We use specialized proprietary software designed and developed by Computerwisekids.

   Classes are 30 mins.10-12 students per Class

   We setup and dismantle the computer equipment in minutes

   Hands on experience used as a method of teaching.

Preschool Computer Curriculum

Computerwisekids offers introductory classes for children 4-5 years old.  The children learn how to control the mouse: simple mouse manipulation techniques of click double-click to click-drag-click.  The simple lessons are detail oriented and structured.  The students learn about all the basics needed to use the computer.  Each student works independently on their own computer.

Students and parents can visit the online homework site and re-do classroom lessons daily.

Elementary and Middle School Computer Curriculum

Specialized Computerwisekids software is used with a detailed and structured lesson plan to teach our classes.  The classes are project-based; from Kindergarten through grade 8 the curriculum is classroom-driven.

Curriculum: topics include Math, Science, Language Arts, Social Studies, Astronomy, Medieval and Animals.

Class Work: topics include Classroom Tools, Printables and Clip Art.

Web Work: topics include Web Quests, Internet Projects and Webpage Tools

Computerwisekids Software: We use specialized software to teach the students basic concepts about the computer, word processing, spreadsheets and paint programs.

Other Software: topics include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, KidPix, Tux Paint, Nero Photo Suite, HyperStudio and Microworlds.

Email:  Student use Computerwisekids Email software to communicate via email.  This is a secure environment which allows students to email fellow classmates and their Instructor.
